Prevention

There are several forms of preventative dentistry including daily brushing, flossing and regular dental cleaning with your hygienist; each of which is necessary in order to maintain good oral health. The goal is to keep gum disease, cavities, tooth sensitivity and other common dental conditions at bay.  Our dentists can prescribe fluoride treatment like mouthwash or varnish to early tooth decay.

Check Ups

Check ups allow us to determine whether you have any dental problems and helps you keep your mouth healthy. Our team of clinicians are also trained at looking at your gums, soft tissues, throat and joints of jaw to pick up any abnormalities. Leaving tooth problems untreated could make them more difficult to treat in the future, so it’s best to deal with problems early - & prevent them all together!

Fillings

Fillings are used to repair a cavity in your tooth caused by decay. Treatment depends on the severity of decay. Our dentists will offer you the most appropriate filling (silver and white fillings available). People of all ages, even young children, may need a tooth filling. Perhaps you have a nagging toothache, sudden pain when you bite down, or sensitivity to hot and cold. You may even have noticed a cavity, or food getting caught in a damaged tooth.

Root Canal Fillings

We might suggest root canal treatment if there is inflammation or infection inside one of your teeth. We will clean and fill inside the tooth to prevent further damage or infection. Root canal treatment can save your tooth from having to be taken out. Once a tooth has had a root canal treatment, a crown will be required to prevent the tooth from breaking.

Crowns

A crown is cap that is placed over the whole tooth and it's held in place by dental adhesive. Crowns are used to restore broken down teeth and to provide protection to root canal treated teeth. In some cases, they can be used to improve the appearance of your teeth. They can be made out of different materials.
